Introduction


During dispensing, you will find that you use some solutions over and over again. For example, many preparations require Ethanol or Formaldehyde Solution.

For convenience, these solutions are kept in stock as concentrated solutions from which the pharmacist can prepare the weaker solutions as required.

Active ingredients can be kept as stock solutions as long as the storage conditions and shelf-life have been fully researched.
