By using the experimental simulation in the next few pages, you can construct the dose-response curve for an agonist, and then construct dose-response curves for the agonist in the presence of several concentrations of an antagonist.

You will need to plan your experiment since you can only add eight amounts of the agonist and you need to obtain a good set of results so that a graph can be drawn.

Note the concentration of agonist being used as this will vary according to the concentration of antagonist chosen.
