Introduction

You can use combinations of agonists and antagonists:
  • To find out about where different agonists and antagonists act
  • To find out about the receptors present in a tissue
  • To find out which agonists and antagonists act at the same receptors

In this activity, you will look at how to use agonist/antagonist combinations and how to interpret the results arising from these combinations.
