Objectives

After finishing this activity you should be able to:

1. work out an equation which allows you to calculate:
   1. the number of doses possible from a specified amount of drug
   2. the total amount of drug needed for a specified number of doses
   3. the size of a single dose
2. you should be able to use the above equation and do the calculations mentioned.

Prerequisites

You need to know the basic units of mass and volume.

You will probably need a calculator.
