Objectives

1. state what each of the following prefixes used for SI units means: tera, giga, mega, kilo, milli, micro, nano and pico
2. convert between the following units of length:
   kilometre, metre, decimetre, centimetre, millimetre, micrometre, nanometre, Angstrom, picometre.
